56. Run the young candidate in the Primary

If he or she wins, Democrats will vote for the Democrat. If the incumbent wins the primary, all Democrats will and should vote for the Democrat.

If some Democrats don't do that, the Republican will win.

Simple, isn't it?

That's how it works.
