their relentless Biden-bashing before the 2024 election provided a dog-ate-my-homework excuse for those who would support what should have been understood as the vastly greater threat posed by a proven enemy of the rule of law and honest government. NYT's choices, which may have been self-serving of their business interests, was worse than failure- it was a betrayal of American democracy.
