But I do know that if there isn't, Crockett is sunk either way.

She is too divisive to win in a red state. Her messaging is fine when she is running in a safe blue House district. I don't think her messaging plays as well when she has to run in the general.

Talarico actually FLIPPED a solid red district to win his seat. So yes, I think he can flip votes, where she can't. Talarico was building up solid momentum in Texas and a lot of goodwill in the months before Crockett decided to enter the race literally on the day of the filing deadline. I truly wish she had decided to run for something else because it would have been better to have them both working to get the vote out, rather than against each other.
