I have family who went full Trump as soon as he started running. They viewed him as the paragon of success and virtue, and the Fox/OANN/Newsmax echo chamber just made it so that any dissenting opinion, of any kind, was branded as treason. You can't fix willful stupidity and people who want to be stupid are beyond repair.
