In fact, he had nothing.
We, on the other hand, started with a position that $4 trillion in tax increases were going to happen - AUTOMATICALLY.
And $1 trillion of that would be on the richest 1%
and half a trillion on the richest 5%
and $2.6 trillion on the richest 20%
So we bargained that down to less than $600 billion.
I guess a tax cut of $2 trillion for the richest 20% COULD be seen as a victory for the bottom 60% - somehow. After all, the bottom 40% gets $300 billion in tax cuts.
$300 billion for the bottom 40% and $2 trillion for the top 20%.
Yep, that is a total victory for the working class!!!
