1. It amazes me if there aren't multiple copies of these documents afield.

The ability to quickly clone gigabytes of data onto tiny (thumbnail-size) devices would make safety-nets so easy. Of course the risk of creating these backups and the risk of being the first to openly distribute would be pretty high. People have been known to have their necks broken in these circles.
