6. I love those polls that start with some self-identified status...

... to report the percentage of that self-identified number support this or that.

The problem is that they completely fail to report on the percentage of the those who identify as X there are in the general population.

It is also a fundamental problem in most polls. They get an opinion from self-identified Dems, Repubs, and Indies, and then extrapolate to the percentage of Republican's in the electorate from Gallup numbers, which are an average of interviews conducted throughout 2025.

The truth is that people are exiting the Republican Party and have been at a faster rate as time has gone on.

As bad as the felon's numbers are, I think they are far far worse. That 90% support among Republicans seems to be so stubbornly unchangeable is stubborn because it is actually 90% of a shrinking number.
