Shoot first, and ask questions later. An element of Americans love that. Its a common trait. Especially if they're doing what they've been programed for years was the right thing for the country.

If Bernie Sanders had won the Presidency, including the House and Senate. (wishful thinking) and got rid of the most corporate tied Democrats, brought in progressives into his cabinet. And pushed through Medicare-for-All, maternity leave, decent minimum wage, closed insider trading loopholes for elected members, and taxed billionaires properly while making it harder to hide money in tax shelters. Prosecuted aggressively Republican law breakers etc etc......in his first year. You'd have a similar affect. He'd get a hard core progressive base supporting him with fervour, with moderate Democrats being swept along with them. Especially if it was working and he was getting those promises accomplished. Because part of it would be that he has "balls" to not be afraid of radical changes to make America greater.

The milquetoast moderate approach by either side is just not palatable in this world today. The age of bending further to the right instead to not annoy Republicans must be over.
