He just started an unprovoked war against Iran. This will not be an easy snatch-n-grab like he pulled with Venezuela’s Maduro. This war will expand and drag more nations into the conflict. Some military leaders are telling their troops this is the Bible’s prophesied final battle between good and evil at the end of time. Having watched the endless conflicts in the Middle East for my entire life, it looks to me like the beginning of another world war. Unlike the previous two wars, the U.S. has no allies as Trump has spent the past year insulting, diminishing and instituting tariffs that have upended the global economy and stability.
Yet Trump thinks he deserves a Nobel.
In the Caribbean, Trump ordered the military to attack and destroy small boats killing their crews while claiming— without evidence— that they were drug runners. It is likely these acts were war crimes. The dead fishermen on those boats deserved due process at the very least but Trump (and Hegseth) wanted a body count.
Yet Trump thinks he deserves a Nobel.
Trump threatened to take Greenland either through negotiation or by force. Greenland and Denmark are NATO allies and Trump’s threats destabilized that organization which has been instrumental in maintaining relative peace in Europe for over 80 years. He has continued to make noises about controlling that autonomous and sovereign nation.

Lately, Trump has been making it clear that he has “plans” to take over Cuba. He’s cut off their primary oil supplies and taken steps to isolate the country’s government. He claims it would be a peaceful takeover.

Yesterday, Trump convened his newly formed “Shield of the Americas” and insulted most of its members by demeaning their language. I’ve been studying Spanish for the past six months; it’s a beautiful and expressive language used by hundreds of millions of people around the world.
Yet Trump thinks he deserves a Nobel.
He’s a convicted felon, a convicted sex offender, a convicted fraud, a deadbeat, a liar, a misogynist, a racist and an adulterer. He’s a disastrous president who is ignorant, petty, incurious, undisciplined, dishonest and just plain stupid.
When will we be rid of this man?
