that criticism from the Left was what he considered to be the threat. But that's only based on my years of watching what a reactionary tissue paper klan the republican party is. Their accusations are confessions.

But if now he can't sleep nights for fear of one of his fellow extremists coming after him, I'm good with that. And if said extremist actually harmed him in any way, I would hope it only happens after Democrats take control of the Senate so they could hold the seat open until after 2028.
