14. I'd put it down as a conservative contribution

Conservatives USED to not be as bad as they are now. Eisenhower built the Interstate Highway System, and he was a conservative for his time. (Today, like Nixon, he'd be a moderate Democrat.) Conservatives would spend money if there was a good reason, they'd regulate if there was a good reason, they would show up and work and they didn't want to destroy the government in order to save it.

The people we have now calling themselves "conservative" are right-wing bomb throwers. Imagine a right-wing version of Saul Alinsky or Bill Ayers, and you know what the people calling themselves "conservative Republicans" are. Imagine a right-wing, and white, version of Huey Newton or Bobby Seale, and you know what a teabagger is.
