They're either in it for the Lulz or they're the "We're God's Chosen", and all the rest of you are going to hell" types who think their food comes from a supermarket and they can just drive to a store or go online and God will provide what they want.
America doesn't really exist.
They're living in the Now-Here, and they get really upset when the real world or other people intrude.
