This is far worse, it's government by social media algorithm, something that favors the most outrageous lunatics and which this bunch of dimwitted and uncreative power drunk assholes take for majority opinion.

This is why social media have got to be regulated as public utilities, to get rid of the algorithms that favor clickbait.

Not only will outrage junkies have to start thinking straighter, it will be fun to see Zuckerberg et al. shriek and squirm.
