Most of them are knuckle-dragging ideologues. Since gerry-mandering has made so many seats safe for the incumbent or incumbent party, I doubt the returning pukes will be inclined to vote for it either. Remember that if they are in a "safe" GOP district, their only threat is from a tea bagger primary challenge. They will tow the Grover Norquist line.

I hope I am wrong, for the country's sake. But I don't have a lot of hope.
