Because if this had come out after the primary, we could have been cooked.

I literally just said on DU a few days ago this man is a walking future scandal. I'm not prescient. I have friends who have worked in Alameda County and Oakland politics for years who kept saying "Just wait" when it comes to Swalwell.

He has always had this part of him waiting to fall out.

But people liked his tweets, so you were a right-winger if you noted he maybe wasn't all that great.
