...but DID this guy ever watch a war picture or tv show like Combat or Twelve O'Clock High where the units, sure a technological eternity ago, are spending weeks and months to destroy a single objective and sometimes not quite getting it. The first successful laser guided bomb strike didn't occur until 1972 in Vietnam. Even with these technologies the work of destroying mass concentrations of a modern armed force takes months or years. I thought his trivialization of the Ukrainian struggle was obvious indifference to their bold brave resistance not abject ignorance of the miraculous tenacity their resistance indicates.
