Yesterday

My grandmother also told me she had whooping cough as a kid - and at the same time as a neighbor kid who she was friends with for years. My Nana was born in 1900, so it must have been in the early 1900s - and both my Nana and Augustus Gerardis (her neighbor) both grew up unscathed.
