Midterm primary dates: bookmark this thread [View all]

Here is a link to all the primary dates for each state:

https://www.fvap.gov/uploads/FVAP/VAO/PrimaryElectionsCalendar.pdf

Bookmark it; here’s the reason why:

With the exception of 3-4 New England states, all primaries will be completed by Labor Day.

Once the primaries are over, if the economy and Trump’s approval ratings both continue to deteriorate, it is conceivable that some/enough of the Republican incumbents may become desperate enough to challenge Trump on policy, and maybe, just maybe, target him for removal as a Hail Mary effort to salvage their party’s chances in what is otherwise sure to be a bloodbath of a Blue Tsunami.

Yeah, yeah, I know, the MAGA cult will never turn on him, and most of the house republicans are terrified of incurring his wrath.

However, I watched an interview with George Conway yesterday (sorry can’t find the link) where he predicted Republicans would turn on Trump before the midterms. Yes, Conway is just another Never Trumper pundit who claims to have inside info on the rumblings on The Hill.

Take that for what it’s worth, but if Republicans were to make a move against Trump, it would almost certainly have to come after the primaries, when the incumbents would be safe from challenges, and could join forces with the 35 retiring republicans who no longer GAF.

Just thought it was an interesting tidbit to take note of.
