it appears that PLATNER is the candidate most likely to defeat Collins,
and mostly likely by far to win Maine's Democratic U.S. Senate nomination!

YES, some of his past isn't what I would ideally want either,
but likely Democratic primary voters in Maine don't seem to care,
according to the polls--- and the MOST important thing in Maine
is that the Democrats nominate the strongest candidate against Collins!
All the rest is just noise...


and Gov. Janet Mills is far from perfect herself, as governor
having stood with corporate interests against labor interests,
and more than once.... Some things she did as Governor of the state
had far greater consequences for the residents of Maine,
than some of Platner's old posts on Reddit or his old tattoo---
none of those things damaged the rights of farm workers, for instance!
