Bill and Hillary Clinton Make Rare Joint Appearance to Cheer on Daughter Chelsea at the Boston Marathon [View all]

Hillary and Bill Clinton were proud parents as their daughter, Chelsea Clinton, completed her first-ever Boston Marathon on Monday, April 20.

The former president and former secretary of state greeted their daughter at the race's finish line on Boylston Street, where she clocked a time of 3:40:52. She received congratulations and hugs from her folks before Bill presented her with her medal.

Bill, 79, and Hillary, 78, also expressed some parental concern when they saw that their daughter's hand had been bloodied during the race.

"I fell on mile 23," Chelsea, 46, admitted in a clip shared by WCVB NewsCenter 5 Boston on social media. "It was brutal."
