4. I don't think the average Canadian has given up on the US in perpetuity but...

the level of trust we had will never return to what it once was, imo. "Once burned, twice shy". The reduction in relying on the US to be our major customer will continue as will the work toward greater diversification. Visitations by Canadians to the US will come back to some extent once the republicans and trump are gone but it, too, will never return to what it once was.

I watched Senator Slotkin's interview on CBC and she was very impressive, I quite like her.
