I talked to her several times during her campaign, was in DC for her swearing in party . She is smart and realistic. Michigan is lucky to have her.

A friend of mine used to be Canada’s ambassador to the USA. He no longer speaks for their government, of course, but I’d say they are alarmed that we have sunk this low, but have by no means given up on us.
