...what's with the benefit of the doubt for the felon and DOJ who has threatened everyone who prosecuted him, including Garland?

This is a failed defense of the absurd. The poster made a false claim. The fact that he hasn't done so yet, just one year into his three year term doesn't make that threat hollow.

When did we start downplaying presidents threatening former AGs with jail, especially for investigating or prosecuting them?

I should be excused for not regarding this as a serious posit.

People should be to ashamed and embarassed to downplay threats like these, especially making this effort on this thread to dismiss the threats for the purpose of attacking the man who prosecuted Trump.

What if he was threatening your life?

And all of this for the dirt dumb claim that Trump has some affinity for Garland. The man who prosecuted and won convictions of at least 1200 white supremacist, Trump-supporting rioters; the same violent criminals that Jack Smith said Trump bore sole responsibility for inciting to attack the Capitol - the linchpin of his indictment.

People need to stop wasting my time on this. Surely, no one is stupid enough to buy this claptrap, but here we are with posters basically buffering Trump threats to denigrate Trump's prosecutor.

Let me ask you. Who else is working to discredit and denigrate the AG and prosecutors who brought forward charges against Trump? Who else is doing this? Anyone you can think of?
