not a monarchial kind of rule but and authoritarian/autocratic rule (with a touch of theocracy)...where power is concentrated in the hands of a single leader or a small elite without popular participation...

Republicans know Trump is a deranged erratic clown but he is their vehicle to pack the courts with ultra right incompetent ideologues, reward their billionaire donors with obscene tax cuts, quash the black vote, dictate school/college curriculum (Christian scripture), rewrite Black history, force LGBTQ+ back into the closet, rid the country of non-whites, relegate woman to the kitchen (pregnant/no reproductive healthcare/subservient), destroy infrastructure, poison the air/the ground...and on and on...

Republicans are unserious people determined to return the United States to the NO NEGROES/NO JEWS/NO MEXICANS/NO "THE OTHER" dumbed down white-daddy-knows-best 1950's...
