2. I don't bother any more. I know that some day in some way Trump will hurt most of his supporters.

If they still don't turn against him, then that's on them. They have chosen to support him, let them pay the price and get hurt. Maybe then, and only then, they will examine their reasons for supporting him and reconsider their choice of political parties. They are adults and it's up to them to decide.
