rethugs get to the finish line using fraud and dirty tricks.

We didn't get a landslide because of our perceived complicity in the genocide in Gaza, which caused a lot of voters to stay home and/or stupidly support trump. There was an article that showed how those defectors put trump over the top in swing states.

Unfortunately, we still have leaders / members in our party who are making excuses for what we've seen, or even worse, slandering and/or gaslighting those of us who are opposed to it.

That said, trump is truly incompetent and we haven't even seen a tenth of the fallout that's headed our way from all of his ignorant/cruel/corrupt decisions made up to this point. I think Americans can retain memories for at least 2 years so that should be enough to get Democrats through this fall and 2028. However, by 2030, there will have to be some serious updates and revisions to our platform.
