In reply to the discussion: Prince Harry warns of 'deeply troubling rise' in antisemitism in UK after spate of attacks [View all]Attilatheblond
(9,223 posts)33. Didn't he have to stop using the title 'Prince' when he decided he didn't like being an active part of the 'Royals'?
Frankly, I would guess more than a few British people would scoff at him using the title and trying to meddle in policies all the sudden. Saw recently that he wants security protection like the royals who do their assigned 'duties'. Maybe it's rougher out there among common people? He and the wife want back in?
I like Harry, and am glad he got the counseling he needed, did the work to get over some traumas, but he seems to be having second thoughts about his decision to live his life his way, outside of the privileged umbrella of monarchy.

The Govt is elected by the people. The Monarchy doesn't control them other than some ceremonial things

What parasites ? The people of the UK love the Monarchy and they have no real power. It's mostly a tourist attraction

The failure of the US has nothing to do with the Monarchy today . Trump and other shit is more a result of the reality

One has nothing to do with the other. Trump is more like a cult leader . None of it is about some monarchy

I find it kind of odd that none of the headlines mention that he gives equal time to Islamophobia.
