Revolts of mass unemployment roiled Europe for much of the 1800s, culminating in the Revolutions of 1848, The Paris Commune, the deposing of several monarchs, and the Italian Constitutional Republic. Of course Europe had no way to deal with this, their populations from Ireland to Italy emigrated to north America. LVHC left town.
