3. I hate to say it but there is not much chance of us winning this regardless of who won the primary

Only maybe Andy Beshear might have had a chance, but he has his eyes set on the Presidency. If your going to lose you might as well pick the more progressive candidate and start playing the long game to push the culture forward. McGrath got destroyed in Louisville,Lexington and almost all the counties that surround Lexington and Bowling Green too. If a Democrat is even going to have chance at miracle upset then they must do well in those localities and given that McGrath wasn't even competitive there against Booker there was no way she would beat a republican in the general. She even lost Hardin County to Booker where Fort Knox is despite her military background. Booker does have much chance either, but he probably has a slightly better chance then McGrath would've based on what happened in the primary.
