116. Hair splitting? Do you not see the incredibly obvious difference?

Christ, I'd think that the gun nuts would understand more than the general public how incredibly different those things are. If you honestly think that suggesting that the difference between shot guns and AR-15s is "hair-splitting", then I'm not sure you're capable of rational debate. And there's a very simple method that gun owners can use to determine if I'm talking about them: Whether or not they own a fucking assault weapon. I even took the time to clarify what I mean by that. If gun nuts are really that incredibly daft, then there's no rational debate with them. That's OK, though. They don't need to be part of the debate, we can just listen to them squeal when new legislation is passed. We don't need the participation of those "adults".
