I would imagine in the smoke-filled back rooms of the Reich Wing strategists, they were laughing their collective asses off at us for, ONCE AGAIN, bringing a butter knife to a gun fight. They knew they could get away with almost anything. The current level of corruption proves that point.

I think that comment costed us A LOT. But most of it, like Doturds corruption, remained unseen.
I'm only speculating, of course, but I don't think it's too much of a stretch to imagine what the fascists thought and how they proceeded.
