(20,176 posts)It doesn't really fit as there are good and bad people in all of the above named institutions...and some of us have worked very hard to clean up that kind of behavior among actives and alumni. We have to be strict, we're the lightning rod that everybody else blames their shit behavior on.
Please don't confuse us or even the tough enforcement and oversight of the NCAA and NAIA over collegiate student-athletes for the depravity of some HS psychopaths whose parents are shielding them.

A former HS and collegiate athlete (football), former president of the campus resident-hall association, former resident director and resident assistant, former chapter president of my fraternity, former president of my campus Greek-life council, current national board member and spiritual chair of my college fraternity.
P.S. Anime Club, the Frisbee-golf club-sport team, K of C and College Democrats were bigger miscreants than we were at my private university in DC.
