6. There's a simple reason that living Presidents don't get images on money

In England and later Great Britain, every new monarch got his or her portrait on the coinage and currency of the realm. That started as soon as the coronation was over.

In the United States, everyone agreed that such a practice should never be put in place in our nation. Clearly it was precisely because we declared our independence from a monarchy that did exactly that. It was a measured and consensual agreement by the founders. No living Kngs' or Queens' heads on our money. Once their dead, maybe we can use Presidents' likenesses, if they were good presidents.

That was a good decision, and we should stick with it.
