I know this sounds weird, but years ago on one of the csi programs, the team was solving a murder that involved a chef at a high end restaurant and one the patrons was wearing one. Iirc, it got loose, the patron threw a fit and demanded all the staff search for it, the chef threw a fit because a bug was loose in his restaurant, and eventually the chef was killed. I don't recall if the patron was the killer, but I believe they were a suspect.

Edited to add: episode was called "A Daze of Wine and Roaches" (Season 3, Episode 19 of CSI: NY).
