30. botflies eat living tissue, but transmission is completely different.

Botflies don't lay their eggs on the host. They tackle mosquitoes, attach their eggs to them, and then the mosquito lands on the host and the eggs fall off.

Screwworms look for an entry - a wound would be a good example. Botfly larvae drill right in.

I don't think the two types of fly are all that closely related.
