My friend's father was a ?Under Ambassador, then was later appointed as an Ambassador.
So we were walking around our city one day.....when she showed me the prints from photo session of his appointment as an Ambassador (with them/his family), in The Oval Office.
It was under Reagan. I hated Regean.
But, woah, it was impressive!

Some people actually doze with their eyes partly open. It is a known occurence with older adults.
