1. You can listen to a 24-hour live replay of radio from this date (I think this year is CBS radio). . .

Yesterday

Old Time Radio USA broadcasts the original live programming from the first 24 hours of the Normandy invasion - it starts at 6:30 a.m. EDT today. I've listened to it several years on this date, and it is filled with small details, propaganda, special programming, etc. that Americans heard on that day in 1944 - music, etc. It is fascinating to immerse in the news, music, bulletins, etc. as it happened. . .

Here is a link to one location to listen. Also, if you have a device (like Amazon Alexa) you can just ask it to play "Old Time Radio USA from Tune-In" and it should directly connect.
