(30,574 posts)you conceding the fact of different beliefs among Christians. I'm guessing that you realize it refutes your earlier claim of a "quintessential Christian".
While acknowledging the differences, you do attempt to dismiss their importance on the rather facile grounds of their being "in many ways all the same"...Well, no kidding!..One could say that about human beings themselves, their needs, desires, religions, political views etc. To leave it at that, however, obscures their rather obvious and significant differences, and no one is interested in that.
Finally, your claim that a need for further
education is contingent on my ability to "prove the existence of God" is about as valid as claiming an understanding of Nietzsche depends on the ability to speak German.
