and breaks down into water and oxygen under heat or light, for example Washington DC sun on a summer day. Oxygen facilitates growth of algae, so the addition of hydrogen peroxide to the pool will contribute to the growth of more algae.
This entire misadventure is a metaphor for the trump administration.
