18. I can almost understand access

but they're getting access to appearances that are televised and their physical presence isn't actually necessary. Though he tends to be very harsh toward them, he still loves being the center of attention. If reporters didn't cater to his abuse and lies, he would be very unhappy.

I am still disappointed by how rare it is to see anyone stand up to him or walk out of the room.
