Otherwise it would be too easy to sweep it all under the rug and move forward probably to repeat the same mistakes in the future.

Also there are generational issues. After World War II, "Never Again" stuck for decades, but now that the generations that lived it have mostly died off, the same old players are back, ready to wreak havoc on the world again.

We see the same old cycles repeated throughout history. We have to find a better way.
