To me, that child was treated worse than you treat an animal.

How do some young men grow up thinking that a HUMAN BEING is just something they can masturbate into and then toss away like a piece of trash? That a human being is a thing they can drug, piss on, abuse and throw to the ground, naked and half-dead?

And then party and laugh and celebrate their "accomplishment?" And then call HER names, as if they aren't the pigs?

I don't understand this way of viewing your fellow humans. Don't understand how some men and boys find this entertainment, find this even HUMAN. Even animals don't behave this way

What mechanism in our society gives some young males the idea that humans are just their playthings, and that even the most horrific things done to girls are "no big deal?" That their penis is really a weapon you use to torture and humiliate someone?

Steubenville is like so many small towns, salivating over football while the souls of their kids are destroyed.
