One of the best things to do to not become a victim of a psychopath/sociopath is to be able to know one when you see one. And in order to do that, you have to pick up a book and do some reading. Speaking of reading, I read this thread before I replied to you. There are some nay-sayers or doubters here, but please don't be offended by them. I know not being offended is easier said than done, but you will develop a thick skin if you stick around here long enough. That being said, your post does "pass the sniff test", as I have studied the subject of phychopathology/sociopathy. I do hope DUers will pick this book up and read it. They can ask for it at their local library too. Welcome to DU!
