That's 30 guns that can end up in criminal's hands.
If you got that many, you might get a visit from a real determined thief. Real determined thieves can get into $10,000 gun safes. Might take a while, but he'll wait till you're gone out of the house. And the toughest safe in the world can be gotten into in an hour or two.
A good thief will disable your alarm system too.

Yes it does, if the "bad guy" calls your bluff and does whatever you imagine he'll do even while pointing your gun at him. Or he might just out-gun you. Or you might make a mistake and accidently kill the guy.
