(8,818 posts)114. One of my coworker's daughters is a hospital nurse
and said that what they are finding is that about 60% of the people who have had a flu shot this year are still getting the flu.
I get too sick from the flu shot. This year I got the pneumonia shot and shingles, but decided against the flu shot. Maybe next year I'll change my mind, but this year I did not.
