Ghostery isn't a proxy, so it doesn't slow you down at all. I've been using it for about 3 years now
on a 4 year old macbook. I also use Amazon a lot, even though I know they collect info as well. But I've set my
laptop and iphone on Yahoo search. I know, it's not as good, but google has just gone WAY over the line
of invasion of privacy. I don't have anything to hide, but I can't help being angry about some corporation
knowing my business... maybe I'm a little paranoid.
