8. How is that your decision to make?

When the other side states "It should no longer be a positive to run for Congress as a lobbyist for Planned Parenthood" don't you get a little queasy?

Every person has there own pet issues, and it isn't up to you decide what a portion of the Country, or State decides is acceptable. North Dakota just elected a progressive democrat woman who happens to get an A rating from the NRA. That is very important to her state. Are you going to tell them that they are wrong?

There is a reason Democrats run away from their own party when gun control issues come up. The amount of times during the last election that many people here had to dispute friends and family's constant retort that "Obamas gonna take away my guns" was phenomenal. On DU alone there were threads every other day asking help on debunking facebook pages, etc was constant. Now those same people that convinced friends and family that "Obama wasn't gonna take away their guns" have their tails between their legs.

I don't know what part of the country you are from, but here in Mid Wisconsin, everyone and their brother has guns. They have had them all their lives, and they aren't gonna give them up now. You can scream till your head falls off that it is "assault rifles" only, or high capacity magazines, but when the Vice President says that executive orders may be used, that doesn't calm the nerves of every day people.

Good luck in rural America in 2014 if too many laws are changed.
