17. People on the left worry right to abortion, people on the right about guns

Maybe we should stop trying to take rights away and focus on health, feeding the poor, jobs etc.

The right sees abortion as something usually not needed (don't want one, don't have sex).

The left portrays all gun owners as crazy killers and does not see the utility of some owning guns.

We compromise by saying no abortions past a certain month (as some places have done) and registering certain weapons (like machine guns, etc).

We are a big tent in a diverse country and there is something called compromise that so many seem to miss.

An x of mine had two abortions, her choice, her body. I like to go to bars that allow smoking, my body my choice. Some like to own and shoot guns. Go hunting.

That we want to apply the same fix to all people all over the US is stupid at best.

Oh, look at me, I live in the city and don't need a gun so you shouldn't either....I can see why some shy away from parties that want to remove their ability to make personal choices that are no one else's fucking business.
