where a full automatic like the Thompson was used? I don't really know what red tape you have to go through to own one but you can still own a full automatic. I think there is some kind of license, background check and registration involed. I am thinking maybe they could include semi-autos in that category. That would hopefully keep them out of the wrong hands.
You will never eliminate all gun deaths unless you confiscated all guns and that would be nearly impossible.
