84. this is exactly what promotes a proactive & progressive grassroots

movement - if they don't hear from you they do "forget" we are the ones they represent - not the lobbyists and corporate donors. they also need to hear appreciation / strokes from you when they do what we want them to do or speak strongly on the floor.

program your phones with their local and dc phone numbers and have them on your email contact lists. and if they are tweeters, subscribe to their feeds...same goes for fb. believe me, their staffers get to know you just by seeing your name all of the time - and so do they.

gone are the days when we sat by passively after an election and "let" our elected officials do what they were elected to do...nope! too much is going on and too much is at stake if we ever hope to realize a country with "justice" for all.
